Due to the school board mandating children to wear masks in school, my two, young children are homeschooled. The negative effects of masks on children and the potential of higher respiratory illnesses from wearing them are the reasons why they are homeschooled. The school boards are blindly following the public health orders without placing children as a priority. Once all the mandates are no longer in effect in our schools, my children can commence their schooling under the school boards direction. Children have over 99% recovery rate from Covid and all these measures in place are only hurting the development of young children. SARS-COV-1 in 2003 was more severe than SARS-COV-2. There weren’t any pandemic orders in place then, so why are they in place for a milder variant?
